Refacing involves replacing the doors and drawer fronts of your cabinets while keeping the existing cabinet boxes.
Refinishing involves removing the existing cabinet doors and drawer faces, sanding or stripping off the old finish, and applying a new coating to the doors, drawer faces, and cabinets.

Depending on how much custom work is requested by the client, our process takes 3-5 days to complete.
Day 1– We do all the cleaning and preparation.
Day 2– We complete the refinishing process to your cabinet frame boxes
Day 3– We are in the shop processing your doors. Typically, we will not need to be in the home unless there is custom work being done as part of your project.
Day 4– We put everything back together again for your final inspection and sign off.
Typically, no. There are times when we will need some cabinets empty depending on what custom work is requested. We would also need drawers empty if refacing is part of your project.
For most of the duration of your project, you will have limited access to your kitchen while your technician is completing the work. However, there is only one full day you will not have access due to the preparation materials/masking being up etc. However, we are flexible and understand there are matters such as access to the refrigerator in order to care for loved ones and such. Technicians often times work around you as best they can. Be sure to communicate your need to the technicians and during your pre-project start date call with the Operations Manager.
